Haute House Kids was born in the Fall of 2021. What started as an open ended styling and design journey with custom playhouses organically evolved into bespoke children’s events. Founder, Jordan Drake, planned and designed Haute House's first community event, Bunny & Blossoms and quickly became known in the greater Triangle Area for exceptionally crafted events. This seamlessly expanded offerings into planning and design for private celebrations, including children's birthdays, family based corporate events and more.

Laura Pickles is the current owner and designer of Haute House Kids. Her appreciation for beautifully crafted celebrations led her to create for family and friends and eventually, this passion bubbled to the surface and her first business, oolala balloons, launched in the summer of 2022. Fall of 2023, Laura was presented with the opportunity to become Haute House Kids' new owner and she leapt at the opportunity to carry the torch and continue pursuing her passion for design, client relationships and all things events.
